Product Details

Nano cerium oxide is a light yellow or white powder with a melting point of approximately 2340°C and a density of about 7.13 g/cm³. As a typical rare earth oxide, it exhibits paramagnetic properties at room temperature. In nature, cerium primarily exists in multiple stable isotopes such as Ce-140. Its crystal structure belongs to the classic fluorite-type cubic crystal system. Nano cerium oxide is insoluble in water but soluble in strong inorganic acids. It possesses unique chemical properties, enabling reversible transformation between Ce³⁺ and Ce⁴⁺ valence states. Due to the high surface activity of its nanoparticles, it is recommended to store it sealed in a dry environment to prevent agglomeration and maintain performance stability.

Applications:
